The “Angel’s Share”, the term for the loss of liquid that evaporates during the barrel aging process.
Stave Robber, the term we use when referring to the “angel’s share” cuz nobody said the “angel” could have it.
With the help of our friends at Barrel Theory, we were able to get that beer back. So, we bottled it.
Introducing Stave Robber, a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, made with love from our friends at Barrel Theory. It was brewed with Maris Otter barley, malted wheat, and chocolate wheat malt. Then we aged it for 15 months in bourbon & rye barrels and conditioned it on PISTACHIOS, TOASTED COCONUT, AND MADAGASCAR VANILLA BEANS.
