Last year we took a classic English Barleywine recipe to the ice cream shop where we loaded it with a stupid amount of toasted pecans, milk sugar, and Madagascar vanilla beans. We also took half of that beer and threw it into bourbon barrels, and now it’s ready for a second helping.
Barrel Aged Ice Cream Grin is a collaboration with our family at Dangerous Man Brewing Co. It’s a Bourbon Pecan Praline Ice Cream Barleywine brewed with a 100% premium English malt mash, English yeast, toasted pecans, milk sugar, and Madagascar vanilla beans as an homage to lush pecan praline ice cream 🍦😀 that sits at a healthy 11.5%.
BA Ice Cream Grin goes on sale in bottles and on tap on Saturday, February 8th when we open up. Limit 2 bottles per person, $30 each.
