Playing Dead

2 years, 24 months, 730 days, 17,520 hours, 1,051,200 minutes, 63,072,000 seconds. That’s how long we allowed Playing Dead to play dead in both Four Roses & Eagle Rare bourbon barrels. Now, after an extended game of Playing Dead, we’re ready to play more dead.

Introducing Playing Dead, our Imperial Milk Stout brewed with Golden Promise, malted wheat, crystal malt, chocolate malts and a touch of lactose. Aged for 24 months in Four Roses Small Batch 6yr & Eagle Rare 10yr barrels, then conditioned on heaps of our selected Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla beans. It may all be pretend, but the 13.5% in Playing Dead is real.

Playing Dead will be released in bottles on Saturday, December 18th at 9 am in our online store (does not have cart protection). It will then go on tap in the taproom at noon. All bottles purchased online must be picked up on either Saturday or Sunday, December 18th & 19th. All bottles not picked up over the weekend will be refunded and put back into our inventory on Monday, December 20th and will be available for purchase on Tuesday, December 21st via our online store and in the taproom.
