1978 Volkswagen MK1 Rabbit

“The car is a 1978 with a special kit motor from the 80s manufactured by a company called Oettinger (900 built in the world). The engine has been hand polished or painted flame red to match the interior. Color is Biarritz White from the Porsche color palette. Everything has been smoothed or minimized as traditional Hotrods did, and the car takes inspiration from a mix of Singer Porsches and traditional Americana.”
Engine: Oettinger 2.0L 16v 4-cylinder w/ individual throttle bodies, 268 cams, dry sump oil system, stainless steel header, 2.25 stainless exhaust, 02S six-speed transmission w/ limited slip differential
Exterior: PorscheBiarritz White, extended fenders, chromed euro bumpers, swallowtail hood, hatch, rear panels and grille
Interior: GTS Classics Vallelunga seats, full re-trim in Moore & Giles flame red leather, houndstooth cloth, smoothed and exposed exhaust tunnel
Suspension: Air suspension, tubular control arms, narrowed rear suspension beam, performance front and rear anti-roll bars
Wheels: Image Wheels Billet 60 15×8″ front, 15×9″ rear, color matched in Flame Red
