Every year there is a theme and all of the breweries bring a beer that pays tribute to that theme. This year’s theme, if you didn’t know, is Drag Queens. We frickin’ love Drag Queens! We weren’t just going to choose one of our favorite Queens, we were going to choose one of our favorite Queens and invite her to the brewery, create that special beer with her, and invite her to come and pour with us at the event.

That’s when we reached out to the one and only Mercedes Iman Diamond. A shot in the dark, for sure. With her busy schedule, we held out little hope that she would want to do it, or at the least even be available. Well, the stars aligned, the Goddesses parted the clouds and WE ARE PUMPED TO ANNOUNCE THAT MERCEDES SAID YES! We all sat down, chatted, and came up with a great beer.

Enter, Opalence, a most elegant offering with a lusciously pink aura brought on by the pink dragon fruit, which is then elevated with plump pineapple. Finally, we add a dash of opalence with gold flakes sprinkled a top.
