Calling all literary nerds and people who excelled at bullshitting their way through book reports about things you didn’t read!

Modist Brewing is proud to bring you The Loud Book Club!

This new and unique event is for people who either love to read or are great at acting like they do. If you’ve always wanted to join a book club but have always worried about the commitment or actually reading, then come on down!

Join our hosts Kate, Cole, and Bryce on Sunday, October 26th, from 5-7:30 pm as they take you through multiple segments that will appeal to your literary acumen (or lack thereof), as well as your wit and improvisational skills. There is no assigned reading, but please feel free to bring your book of choice to talk about or read at your leisure!

Segments include:

– Judging a Book By Its Cover

– 30 Second Book reviews.

– Gettin’ It Off Your Chest: A Literary Festivus

Prizes will be for the taking!

This event is free and open to the public. Expect some vulgarity, a lot of laughs, and an interesting show of appreciation for the written word.
