Starting a company is weird. Years of planning and building and painstakingly nitpicking every detail… then a month before you launch you hire a bunch of strangers and hope that within a month they can learn to embody a brand that took years to craft.

Sometimes you get lucky and hire someone who not only embodies your brand, but also advances it. Someone who immediately transitions from student to teacher, who volunteers to come in on their free time to help with all things random, and even makes us newsworthy craft sodas. Unfortunately, that same person sometimes has to move to Austin, TX so she can ride her motorcyle every day.

That person is Abee, and this Sunday is Abee’s last day. Join us as we say goodbye and thank you. Abee: your constant supply of hard work and positive energy have kept our spirits high during these past 8 months. We couldn’t have done it without you. You’ll always be part of the Modist family. You will be missed.
