On Saturday, April 19th, we invite you to descend with us.

To mark our Cloud 9 Anniversary, we’re releasing something truly rare. Special Reserve Depth is the oldest beer we’ve ever made—a 6-year bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout brewed in collaboration with our friends at Forager Brewing in Rochester, MN.

Originally brewed in 2019, this stout was designed for patience. Built on a decadent base of wheat malt, Maris Otter barley, specialty malts, and local buckwheat honey from Rochester, it underwent a marathon 12-hour boil before being laid to rest in our last remaining Eagle Rare 10-Year bourbon barrel.

It stayed there. Waiting. Maturing. Deepening. For over half a decade, it soaked up the oak, the bourbon, the passage of time—and emerged as something entirely different.

Now, the wait is over. And it’s leaving the barrel behind.

Tasting Notes
At 16.5% ABV, Special Reserve Depth is massive—but refined. Pouring a dark, black-copper hue, this beer offers:

• Aromas of bourbon-laced chocolate mead, candied almond, dark cherry, honey, and oak.
• A full-bodied, rich, and smooth texture, balanced with just the right sweetness.
• Flavors of milk chocolate, cherry-laced mead, and sweet, bourbon-soaked oak on the finish.

Serve at 45–55°F for optimal experience. Sip slow. Reflect often.

This is not just a beer—it’s a relic. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
