We’ve teamed up with Kurt Waltenbaugh, one of our Modist Makers, to create this one of a kind beer. This uber limited edition bottle release incorporates Kurt’s love of storytelling with his intrigue of complex beers. This is truly an adventurous tale: with a start, an in-between, a long unstructured, chaotic pause, and a finish. We’re currently living in the start, and while the rest of the beer sits in barrels (chaotic pause), we’ll wait at least a year for the finale.
Introducing Between The Times, our Cinnamon Hazelnut Imperial Porter, a Modist x Kurt Waltenbaugh collaboration, brewed with Maris Otter pale ale malt, brown malt, Heritage crystal malt, and chocolate malts. Conditioned on Ceylon cinnamon, hazelnuts and Ghana cocoa nibs. ABV: 12%
Between The Times bottles will be released at 9 am on Saturday 6/4 and will be available on tap at noon.
Policy: Order via our online store on Saturday 6/4 at 9 am. (Website does not have cart protection). It will then go on tap in the taproom at noon. All pre-purchased bottles must be picked up (proxies allowed) on Saturday or Sunday, June 4th & 5th during taproom hours. All bottles not picked up over the weekend will be refunded and put back into our inventory and will be available for purchase on Tuesday, June 7th via our online store and in the taproom.
CBC brought a bunch of friends, old and new, into the brewery. We had only one option, to roll out the red carpet AKA bake some homemade, fully modified Tater Tot Hotdish (coloquially, TTHD). Our good friends at Other Half stopped by, all the way from NYC, to brew a TTHD inspired DDH Double IPA that we’re obviously calling Tater Tot Hotdish (but you can call it TTHD).
Tater Tot Hotdish will be available in the taproom starting Saturday 5/28 and will be hitting liquor stores harder than the blizzard of 91’ starting Tuesday 5/31. Check back Tuesday for local delivery schedules

Introducing Blueberry Dive, our collab with Great Notion: a Tropical Blueberry Margarita Gose brewed with malted white wheat and pilsner malt then conditioned on blueberries, key lime juice, pineapple juice, agave nectar and sea salt.
Blueberry Dive will be available online and in the taproom Saturday 5/21 and will be diving into liquor stores beginning Tuesday 5/24. Check back on Tuesday for local delivery schedules.
Hang gliding is pretty cool, but soaring through the clouds can be a daunting task. Maybe it’s a little too much. Maybe all you need is a little baby Small Hang Glide, safely on your own two feet firmly planted on the ground.
Introducing Small Hang Glide, a Wheat Pale Ale brewed with malted white wheat, 2 row barley and pilsner malt. Hopped and dry hopped with Bravo, Amarillo and Citra. ABV:6%
Small Hang Glide will be released in the taproom on Saturday, May 14th and will begin gliding into liquor stores on Tuesday, May 17th.
You wake up in the middle of the night, eyes wide open, unable to move. A dark figure looms over you. You break from that horrific paralysis and clench your Reaper Cushions. Your breath calms. Sweet dreams from here on out.
Introducing Reaper Cushions, a Helles brewed with German Barke pilsner malt and kettle hopped with Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and Huell Melon. Then lagered and conditioned in our oak foeders. ABV: 4.8%
Reaper Cushions will be released in the taproom on Saturday, May 14th and will begin creeping into liquor stores on Tuesday, May 17th.
